Pretreatment equipment

 

If Flow Systems directs you to install tradewaste pretreatment equipment, you will need to buy and install this equipment from one of our authorised suppliers. Please contact us and we will provide you with a list of approved contractors. Ream more below.

The installation of bucket traps must meet Australian Standards, Workplace Health and Safety standards and Flow Systems guidelines.

It must be installed by a registered plumber. The installation of this equipment will be inspected by Flow Systems and if it does not meet these standards and guidelines it must be removed at the cost of the installer.

The installation of oil water separators must meet Australian Standards, Workplace Health and Safety standards and Flow Systems guidelines.

All businesses within the community retail centre that are fitted with grease traps must be regularly maintained by companies in accordance with Flow Systems guidelines.

Businesses outside the retail centre are required to install grease traps meeting Flow Systems guidelines, Australian Standards and Workplace Health and Safety standards. Grease traps must be installed by a registered plumber. The installation of this equipment will be inspected by Flow Systems and if it does not meet these standards and guidelines it must be removed at the cost of the installer.

The installation of the following pretreatment equipment must meet Australian Standards, Workplace Health and Safety standards and Central Park Water guidelines:

  • dry arrestor pits
  • general purpose pits
  • grease removal devices
  • plaster traps
  • silt arrestors
  • solids settlement pits
  • under sink pump units

It must be installed by a registered plumber. The installation of this equipment will be inspected by Flow Systems and if it does not meet these standards and guidelines it must be removed at the cost of the installer.
